Now I understand about all this Hindraf thingy…though I still couldn’t explain it in words

fening laa

Mood: Fening-fening lalat (read: pening-pening)

Its not really that complicated…But quite complicated enough for someone like me who at most times not really interested in political stuff racist  exciting current issues (maybe I should start to think about it). Because once I start thinking about it, I will have to think about it a lot, before I make any conclusions or have a stand on my words and belief. Its like, I can’t jump into conclusions and make a hassle about it with too little knowledge about this. This applies to every single thing in life everyday.

Before we jump into conclusions or say something out loud, it has to be backed up with evidence and facts. Bukan sekadar dengar2 member’s opinion dekat kedai Mamak and then making a whole issue out of it sebelum study habis2…That is called gossiping. In addition, the way we say it must be precise and neutral. Vague statements or improper way of saying things may provoke misunderstanding and irritations. because people listening (read: audience) comes from different background and beliefs, that’s why being neutral is the best way of making statements especially when you’re living in a multi-race country like Malaysia.

For me, working in a factory. I deal with a lot of issues everyday and need to discuss about these matter with a lot of other members. Every statement I make must be based on facts, data, logic and evidence. It may sound hard to all of you out there, but it is very simple when you have this “NIAT”->

I want to work honestly. I do not want to lie to others for my own sake or to cover up my mistakes. If I did do mistakes, I will admit, apologize and inform to others so that they will not repeat my mistakes too. I want to work at my best effort and as a team so that the company gets profit and this profit will come back to all. To achieve this, I must be honest to everyone, from the operator to the Managing Director….If I see something or someone is wrong or if I think that some improvements need to be done, I will tell them straight, not to condemn, but for the best of all. I will accept the advices and critics from others and improve myself by studying the advices and critics. Therefore, I will not jump into conclusion and respect the advices or critics given to me with a big heart. I will not cover up others mistakes just because I am afraid of them or because they are my family and friends.

For what I work for today and every single thing I do today, whether it is a sin or a deed, will I bring along to Hereafter after I die. If I am not punished nor promoted for both my sins and deeds when I am alive, God knows best and He will repay the balance at Hereafter. For He has promised that Hereafter is a much better place than now.

I may not have a lot of experience yet, cause I am still “suku abad” alive. But, I know for sure that “Honesty is the best policy” and I believe it. Imagine how wonderful life would be if everyone is honest. If everyone has the same “NIAT” when doing something, it will go well, Insyaallah. Because God knows best. Same goes to the Hindraf rally or the Rapat Umum organized or whatever thay call it, if all has done their homework and all have the same “honest” NIAT, Insyaallah, God will grant whatever they are fighting for. If He doesn’t, then, there must be a better reason for that. Because God knows best. Maybe He has better things in the future planned for all. Or simply, He must have just wanted all of us to do more homework and reviews. Or maybe He is just testing our patience and how much we rely on Him. Wallahu’alam.

One thing I came across a comment from an Indian doctor that made me realize how lucky I am to live in Malaysia and how lucky all of us here in Malaysia. Compare to the lives of people in Afghan, India, North Korea. We are very lucky we are not living in fear. No wars. Enough food and water supply. Shelter everywhere. All there left is for us to USAHA, work for it. Some may say, we should compare ourselves with Japan, America…who are enjoying better lives. But, is by being that way is going to guarantee peace? They probably have problems of their own too. Being them doesn’t solve any of current problems, I think. We should see the problem from the eagle’s eyes, not from the frog’s view from underneath the ‘tempurung’.  I am not taking sides with this statement. Just trying to think about current issues the other positive way :)

The reason I said that was because when I was browsing on the net searching about Hindraf issues to study, (I am not up to date, so, I had to study, korek balik article2 lama or from other ppl’s blog) I got a bit carried away by some articles or opinion others write and inside I was feeling this racist-feeling inside of me grow. When at last I read the comment of the doctor I mentioned earlier and I WOKE UP from that bad feeling. Astaghfirullah. I almost got carried away. But, I then realized, that whatever other people write at their blog are simply their opinion and I shoudn’t get carried away or even make judgements on the person writing it because I don’t really know the background of that person nor he may have good reasons and evidence to make such bold statements.

Senang cerita, Penagajaran: Jangan emos, Jgn ikutkan sgt perasaan tu…Perasaan marah tuh datangnye dari Syaitan…If you are fighting for something good, with a good “NIAT”, do it in a professional, clean way and with a lot of patience. If you do the other way around, whatever you do will come back to you if not soon, later. Learn from the prophet, Nabi Muhammad s.a.w or Mahatma Ghandi ker….They are very patient people. They know that you can’t make changes overnight and God is always there to defend people in need to seek for His help.

Thinking about serious issues sometimes make my daily problems and worries soooooo tiny and soooooo “kudaranai”… Ganbarou! \(-0-)/
